GOTZ Sasha ANGELA Girl Doll 9508002 16.5 inch Vinyl Mint in Tube
This exquisite Gotz Sasha Doll Angela was produced as part of the second German production in 1995/96. Angela is beautifully attired in a long white dress of a textured waffle weave with lace trim, long white sleeves, long skirt, waist length bodice and sash that ties in the back in a large bow. White ankle length pantaloons, white ankle socks and navy leather ankle-strap shoes complete her outfit. Torso markings: back of torso marked with the Gotz Sasha doll logo (triple concentric circles incised with Sasha Serie).
The back of the neck is also stamped as shown. Condition: Angela is in pristine condition including Gotz metal wrist tag, Gotz hangtag, mini Gotz catalog hangtag and Gotz tube box. The banding is good - the doll stands nicely however it should be noted that the banding on the German Gotz Sasha dolls is not as firm as that of the English Trendon dolls, hence they do not hold a pose as well as the English dolls. Angela has beautiful full, rooted red hair. There are no falling hair issues, no missing plugs but as is typical with the Gotz Sasha's - the rooting at the crown is a little sparse as shown.
