The Samantha Parkington doll was released in 1986, along with Kirsten Larson & Molly McIntire. They were American Girl's first three Historical Characters. Samantha was officially archived in May 2009. Samantha ParkingtonT is kind, generous, & always ready to make a new friend.

She has sparkling brown eyes that open & close & long, glossy brown curls. Hair: Dark Brown, wavy, bangs. A petal-pink dress with a layer of sheer dotted mesh on top, a lace hem &. Collar, short puff sleeves, & a burgundy velvet sash.

Elastic at waist & bottom cuffs. Black plastic slip-on Mary Jane style shoes.

Samantha's Travel Duster (Coat), 2002 - 2005. Six non-functional brown & ivory buttons on chest. Duster closes with three hidden silver snaps. Sleeves have folds at the shoulders.

Turned over sleeve cuffs with faux button closure. Closure is stitched together but has buttons on either side.
