Gorgeous GÖTZ Twin Dolls SVEN & SVENJA by JOKE GROBBEN. These Gotz Designer Dolls SVEN & SVENJA were produced in 1998 and were designed by the well known Dutch doll artist JOKE GROBBEN for Götz.
They has NEVER been played with and come in their box with all tags and certificates of authenticity. They were created in a limited edition of only just 750 dolls worldwide for the "Doll Expressions" Collection. SVENJA is number 301 and SVEN is number 38 in the collection. Each doll measures approximately 65 cm / 25.5 inches and can sit or stand. They are soft bodied doll made of faux suede and sturdy vinyl. They are fairly weighty dolls for their size. Both dolls have a jointed neck, and an internal wire armature within the cloth section of the doll (for example, the doll arms and legs) which allows poseability. They have a beautiful life-like expression, and a natural look which is stunning and created for this namesake Limited Edition.Superior features such as their eyes, are made of high quality hand blown glass crystal. Each doll has a wig with long straight blonde auburn hair that is made of Kanekalon fibre, which you can wash or style - never use heat on this hair! SVEN & SVENJA are wearing traditional clothing - made from high quality natural fabrics. One tiny spot on SVENJA's linen pinafore (see photo).
Both dolls wears shoes of high quality leather. These beautiful dolls come together as twins in one original Götz box - although this is now showing signs of wear and tear after storage for over 30 years.
Each doll comes with their Certificate of Authenticity and the Gotz labels still attached (see pic). They are in lovely condition having been stored in a dry and damp-free, non smoking adult collector's home.
