These 5 Barbie dolls represent various time frames in history. Chinese Empress is adorned in colorful Chinese fashion and jewelry representing different eras in Chinese history.

She was manufactured in 1996 in China. 1920 Flapper remembers a time in American history after World War I and dancing to the Charleston. She was manufactured in China in 1993. French Lady represents 1800's in France with popular clothing designs and embellishments.

She was manufactured in Indonesia in 1996. Gibson Girl had optimism on her mind in the early 20th century with flowing skirts, hats and lots of lace. Victorian Lady spanned the time from 1837 to 1901.

S had the first public telephones by 1877, and in 1896 the first modern Olympics were held in Athens. She was manufactured in China in 1995. Every box has a flap that opens to a window showing the doll.

The flap covering the window has a brief history of each era. The boxes are generally in pretty good condition. The Flapper box has a dent and crease which goes around to the left side of the box (2nd to last photo). The Victorian Lady has a tear on top of the box (last photo). These dolls have lived in a smoke-free, pet-free and air-conditioned environment.
