The Romeo and Juliet box has some very mild wear at the base, and both boxes show some slight warping in the cardboard at the back--indicative of uneven humidity in their storage conditions. Otherwise, there is no noticeable rubbing or tearing and the plastic is intact.
The dolls themselves are untouched and secured to the box in their original condition and costumes. With proper care away from too much moisture or too much sun, these dolls will continue to provide viewing pleasure for years to come. Or if you can't stand it, build them a castle or a stage--all is fair in love and Shakespeare. The attention to detail in the diadems, the hair, the sword, even the textiles is unbelievable!
