From 1975 "Young Sweethearts" MICHAEL & MELINDA are Mattel's 1st couple! Michael stands 12 tall with Melinda at 11. These dolls are unique in that they have jointed, or articulated, arms, elbows, waist and knees.
I think of them as the precursor to the smaller (10 sized) Sunshine Family. This set is vintage and NEVER REMOVED FROM BOX.From an adult collector in a smoke free, pet free home. DOLLS ARE FROM 1975 but in NEW, UNUSED EXCELLENT CONDITION. The BOX is NOT perfect. It is from 1975 so it is FORTY NINE YEARS OLD. It's got some wear on it.
THEIR CLOTHES LOOK IMMACULATE AND THEY ARE STILL WEARING THE PLASTIC HEADBANDS WHICH KERP THEIR HAIR SMOOTH INSIDE THE BOX. PLEASE message me with any questions.
