Lot of 9 vtg Mme. Alexander FFFL and International series dolls, NOS + preowned LOT 4 (Belgium-United States).
Sorry, prefer not sell individually at this time. These dolls are part of a larger collection from an estate in WNC and have been stored (not played with) in a climate-controlled environment for many years. However, regardless of how well they were stored, certain things can happen to the dolls as well as the boxes during storage; deterioration, wear, smells, materials fading, mussed hair for laying on their back for long periods of time...Within this collection, the most common issue with the dolls is that of the deterioration of the original rubber bands. Most of the dolls in this collection are at least 30 years old; rubber bands are not meant to last that long. And to clarify, these dolls have been stored for years, some may have been displayed but none of them have ever been used as a toy. IF NEEDED, THE DOLL WAS RESTRUNG.
Nless otherwise noted, the doll and the doll's outfit are in excellent condition. When it comes to Madame Alexander boxes, well, they are made of very thin cardboard; a cardboard that shows many flaws over the years. For example, the coloring of the box can change, stacking one upon the other can cause small creases or crushing or indentation can occur, the cardboard can easily split, or rip and you may see an occasional taped repair. Most of these boxes do not show much more than minor storage wear. The edges and corners lose the color, price tags are either remaining or have been removed (which removed some of the color of the box), sometimes you will see where a person has taped down the flaps on the insides, there may be a stain or spot. I have noted any box that falls into truly poor quality (most of these do not).

I have used the reference book " Madame Alexander 2010 Collector's Dolls Price Guide #35 " by Linda Crowsey to give you an idea of how old the doll may be, that is, an approximate year of production.
