Pleasant Company American Girl Samantha 18 Doll with Complete Meet and Box

The Samantha Parkington doll was released by Pleasant Company in 1986, along with Kirsten Larson and Molly McIntire. They were American Girl's first three Historical Characters. Sam is in EXCELLENT condition. Her hair is soft, shiny, uncut AND retains its original curl! This hair has not been re-curled/styled.

Her cloth body is fully intact with no rips, stains, smells, etc. Her strings are long and uncut. Her eyes open and close as they should, they are a pretty medium brown and she has fabulous soft eyelashes. Sam's limbs are tight - she can hold a pose with ease. As well, Sam's limbs are free of any major markings and her vinyl is in great shape.

Shine marks will occasionally present as she is not brand new. Sam will arrive wearing her complete meet outfit, with some of her original accessories and with her original box.

Her meet outfit is in EXCELLENT shape - no issues, except, her bloomers elastic are very stretched out. Her meet ribbon has a little fraying at the ends.

The next owner may opt to trim this. Meet hat and broach pin are in excellent shape. Original box has seen better days but remains intact.
