This is an extremely rare, very early version of the Scarlet doll where they were trying to determine the proper skin tone as marked with the proto skin tone with date on the back of the doll as shown, also has foot tag describing the called Baby Strolling? No mint stamp or numbering on the side of the torso which all released versions have since this is such an early example. A must have for the serious Gone with the Wind Scarlet collector. Similar to the released dolls, could be different in some aspects. Excellent shape, proto writing on the back, no side stamp since it''s an extremely early version of the doll, beautiful outfit.
